Break out your best spahetti sauce for these easy meatballs!
Ingredients
1 egg
1/2 cup (125 mL) grated onions
1 large clove of garlic, minced
1/4 cup (60 mL) dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup (60 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried basil
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oregano
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/2 tsp (2 mL) pepper
1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In bowl, beat egg; mix in onion, garlic, bread crumbs, cheese, basil,
oregano, salt and pepper.
Mix in beef; shape into balls. Bake on
foil-lined baking sheet in 400°F oven until firm, about 10
minutes.
Let the meatballs cool. You can freeze them with sauce or you can freeze them alone in a freezer bag.
Cooking Directions from Freezer
Let meatballs defrost. Cook with your sauce.
